With lots of candour, i declare that chemistry practical quite a breeze! Though there was abit of turbulence in the very first question.

"Add equal amts of Sodium Hydroxide & acid and add a piece of aluminium foil. Heat gently."
Efferversence was seen, but i cannot seem to identify the gas. But i can say laconically that it cannot be hydrogen. Neutralisation took place already. There should not be any reaction! That's my hypothesis lar. Those who got hydrogen must have added unequal amts of the acid and alkali ba.

Formenting a storm, the next question was the titration one. 24.4 was my reading... And its the same reading taken by Ms Wassan on the 1st floor. YAY! Thanks to my photo of screened methyl orange!

Next, a question on an alternative to titration was asked. That probably caused the students to become impervious. 5 marks... i wrote abt the temperature change thing... Plot graph using temp. change and from the intersection points, deduce the amt of acid required.

Finally the last question. aluminium and lead. no questions asked.
